La película cumple con las normas y cliches del género pero es bastánte menos oscura que algunas de sus predecesoras. Los personajes parece como si estuviesen jugando a interpretar sus papeles de mujer fatal, ganster o detective; sonriendo en las pausas, por lo bajo, satisfechos con sus diálogos. Acepte la invitación al juego y me lo pasé bien asistiendo a los giros y regiros de la historía.
- Lo mejor: Jane Greer haciendo de mujer fatal.
- Lo peor: Los personajes buenos, la novia o el chico, rechinan.
